After a bunch of digging, I finally found back this incredibly à propos BD from the 80ies, from Griffo and Van Hamme: SOS Bonheur's "À votre santé"

Last i had seen it was in a Spirou collection album in the early 90ies - after reading a bunch of news about healthcare this popped back in my head... Glad i found it!!

Wow... I'd never seen or heard of this one. oO
(when I first glanced at the thumbnail, I was thinking Manara's Déclic, hahaha)

But yeah, I consider Van Hamme to be an absolutely, uh... what are the words... well, spell-binding and 'magnetic' come to mind. For example, I love Thorgal to the core of my fibrous being, but have so far done kind of a piss-poor job here sharing snippets et al...

Thank you kindly for so nicely helping us out!

EDIT: ooh, it looks indeed like there might be a translation called "Authorised Happiness"..? https://www.google.com/search?udm=2&q=SOS+Bonheur+comic

Omg Thorgal yes... I had 1 album of Thorgal growing up, the one where his son finds a trinket that manifests what he believes to be an imaginary friend, but turns out it's some kind of unkillable ghost/alien... I was maybe 8 and I was completely terrified by that thing!

And yes i hadn't thought of Manara's Declic since... Arhm well maybe since i was 14 or so?😅

Dang... that's got to be in to the 20's of the tomes, right? Like, when there was a specific hand-off from Thorgal to his son, right?

I just dug a bit: it's #8 called "Alinoë".. man the memories are flooding back! It was my only Thorgal, but there were a bunch of other BDs we had - Tintin (omg it's so colonially racist), AchillesbTalon (loved 'em), Asterix (loved 'em), and even a few Rubrique-à-braques, those were awesome...
