I worked on a ship in the waters of West Africa, and my coworker and I usually did the shift change out on deck with each our tin and fork while relaying relevant information.
It is hard to beat guacamole made with fresh ingredients. For the longest time, I thought I didn't like guacamole because I only had the stuff from a mix.
On occasion and as a treat for myself, I will buy a bag of Ruffles and a thing of sour cream and French onion soup mix (dried), and make French onion dip and then devour as much as I want for a meal. It's my crack
Vegemite.
Just kidding... I could eat Nutella with a spoon, that's one of the few reasons I'll never buy that stuff.

Hummus and Marmite. Have eaten both with a spoon my whole life (as well on other stuff).
Peanut butter. I eat waaay too much of it, but I have no regrets yet.

I literally just make that stuff whenever I have nothing else available and eat it straight.

I don't eat it straight out of a jar, but I like making a "lazy man's S'more" using graham crackers, chocolate cake frosting, and marshmallow creme.
I have a friend who describes this stuff as "crack in a jar"
