It’s an interesting one… it uses some kind of “dodge and parry” mechanics, but I don’t know more than that because I’m not near my gaming computer at the moment. I’ll have to try it when I get home tonight!

It’s not affiliated or anything, I don’t get a commission or whatnot–I just got sick of seeing inappropriate games get tagged as shoot ‘em ups, and decided to do something about it.
Missing slowdown, enemies, particle-effects, etc. Damn, I was hoping City Connection wouldn’t drop the ball this time. Hopefully all this is patchable.

Of interest to owners of the Atari 50, the upcoming Namco Legendary Pack DLC will include the Arcade and Atari 7800 versions of Xevious; as well as proto-shmup Galaxian (2600 and 5200 versions), and the 7800 version of Galaga. There’s also some non-shmup games on there, I guess 😀 .
Hey folks, sorry I missed last week! Not so weekly I guess 😓 . Anyway, I’ve recently picked up Fire Emblem Warriors, and it’s been pretty fun! I love the musou genre. (in addition to shmups, of course!) Feel free to use this thread for general discussion too, if you’d like!
This might be a positive thing. City Connection sold Zerodiv to Edia this year. Edia might release better ports. Maybe the console versions will be delisted as well?

I have been playing both on Android quite a lot and I really enjoy them but I’d like to play on a bigger screen with my leverless controller. I run Linux, so the Xbox PC ports are out for me. I noticed there are PS4 ports available and they seem to have hi-score and caravan modes as well (though I’m sure the leaderboards are dead like the android ones are). The PC ports on GOG are really bad, so I figured this was my best option.
