Hey folks! Back in the PS2 days I had Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and besides the quests and stuff I also loved just driving around and going on little road trips and stealing planes.
Today’s game is some more Shadow of Mordor. I got around to finally finishing the quest where you poison the grog. While doing it i had noticed that this Adaptation of Mordor is weirdly green. It’s an interesting take (and not one that i’m opposed too) but i thought it was interesting too see. I feel like as far as i remember the games portrayed them as just black rock as far as the eyes could see.
I had a very strange personal interaction with one of the heads of this studio at a PAX years ago, but the story of this studio, if it ends here, appears to be that they continually bit off more than they could chew and didn’t aim to make a project that they could afford to make well.
Today’s game is Baldurs Gate 3. Me and my some friends finally decided to beat this (Me and One of my friends have never made it past the first act, the other quit at Act 2). I accidentally discovered the game had a photo mode while trying to remember the controls and got this group photo while there. My character is in the Background.
I’ve been lucky to interview a lot of my friends over the last few years now; developers from plenty of projects, programs and apps. But this is one I’ve been looking forward to sharing for a long time now!
This is part of the yearly charity event by the YouTube channel ‘The Yogscast’. The event runs for two weeks and all earnings go to charity. The creators are also streaming quite a lot during this event.
Today’s game is some more Halo: Reach PvP. While I was finishing up the last of my moves to CachyOS (I only backed up my CompatData, Halo, and Skyrim), I took a break to play with some friends. We played Infection on Zealot (a staple of our games). I did really well up until the end where I got cornered as the last one alive and without any ammo. I tried to fight my way out, but when you’re facing three guys with energy swords, though, that’s kind of impossible.
Today’s game is some more Project Zomboid. It turns out who I thought was Cable was actually Carley Mangrove. I had forgotten my friend wanted to try a different build, so Cable is on a “Apocalyptic Bible Cult Retreat”, which explains how he lost all his skills. Anyways, we had gotten Carley a prosthetic, and she looks bad ass as fuck with it. She’s still getting used to using it, but my friend who controls her is glad to have her back to full strength.
I don’t find shame in cheating in video games. It was a stigma to hear about growing up, that cheating in video games meant you prefer the shortcuts in life or that you didn’t know what earning anything was. When, that was all just bullshit talk.

Today is some more Halo: Reach. I just haven’t gotten enough I guess, so i’m balancing this with Shadow of Mordor. Right now i’m going through Legendary on Solo and trying to make the sub 3 hour achievement. So far my time has been okayish but it needs to be better. I did the first 2 levels and got 25~ each.
Hey everyone, I’m on the hunt for a charades-style game for Android that works offline and respects my privacy (i.e. no ads, no trackers, and no analytics).
Today’s game is some more Project Zomboid. Cable’s hand had to come off today. His right hand to be more specific. He got bitten and we had to rush for a emergency procedure. Jerry sawed it off and we had our friend on stand by. Cable just barely pulled through. I prepared everything in advance. Bandages, anti septic, the saw, and a warmed up stove. I sawed the arm off, bandaged it, and then we were going to use the stove, but Cable would have to do it himself and he was too shakey. So we let it do it’s thing naturally.
I feel this way as I get older. I don’t care how “realistic” the latest iteration of Call of Battlefield 19: Looty-Shooty Palooza” is, give me compelling gameplay; Not a generic “go here, shoot that, loot this” gameplay loop.
I’m looking for Android games that are designed to be played vertically (portrait mode). Could be casual, action, puzzle, roguelike, or anything really. Best if it can be played one-handed.

Today’s game is Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. While i was doing my ACIII playthrough, i was watching the LoTR trilogy with my younger siblings. And you know what it reminded me of? This game. It feels like the Arkham Games meet Middle Earth. I never got very far into it though years ago when i first played, so i wanted to try and finish it now.
I was recently discussing Farcry 2 with some friends and how cool the fire spread system was - And how it essentially was never used again after that title.
Today is some more Halo: Reach. Me and some friends decided to hangout and just play some PvP matches. We did a few social games too (Namely 8v8 CE), but those don’t have a theater and i don’t want to blast anyone’s name online so i don’t have any screenshots of those. What we did do was a bunch of Private games in Reach. I was going to have some other games but in the move to CachyOS Steam didn’t backup the files for the DLC, only the base game, which i forgot it did.
Today’s game is Mario Kart 64. I was going to have a bunch more Halo screenshots setup for today, but i got fed up with Bazzite and suddenly hopped ships. I have officially switched over to CachyOS. I’m sorry to Bazzite, but i’m in love. This literally works so much better. OS Troubles aside. In the move i lost the Theater Clips. So… i didn’t want to finagle things so i just stuck to my idea of a nice evening.
The gamer group I’m part of recently launched a brand new Starbound server that uses a new, custom-curated modpack of 69 different mods that add an astonishing amount of content to the game. This includes Frackin, Arcana, Enhanced Storage, and a number of others that aim to give everyone lots of new story lines, quests, and adventures.

Hear me out. A few games have shader installations that will usually apply any new settings you put down AFTER you restart the game, and a lot of other games have graphics settings that will only apply after you’ve rebooted the game.
Today’s game is some more Assassin’s Creed III. I’ve been working on 100% it. It’s tedious. I almost considered quitting. One of the side missions just has you fighting off enemies for like 3 minutes. I got most of them though thankfully. I just need to do the feathers and forts i think.
An article from this weekend that seemingly got buried by soundbites about the Steam Machine price in the same interview, but given that we have no information on price, this seems way more interesting to me. I mean…I basically self-select games that don’t use these kinds of anti-cheat at all, but this is important information for a lot of people, especially if you’re looking for an off-ramp from Windows and still want to play some of the most popular live service titles.
Today’s game is Halo: Reach. I got my friends together to get the Par Time and Scores for the campaign. We did it without much hassle. We only had to redo New Alexandria and even then it wasn’t too bad. It was a fun experience to do. I also went through Solo to get all the Datapads, but that’s way less entertaining and only took a few minutes.
Today’s game is some Mario Kart 64. I had a long day and wanted to take it easy, so i did a few races. It was easy up until Banshee boardwalk. Still, it was nice. I’ve always had a soft spot for DK Jungle Parkway especially (i have a soft spot for like all the tracks though) because of this bridge + waterfall. For some reason younger me was enamored with waterfalls. No clue why, though it would later bloom into my opinion on different game’s waters.
Gears 4 felt more like a filler game where a lot of things get introduced but nothing gets carried forward into the rest of the game. The game felt like it was designed exclusively to set up the narrative for Gears 5.
Today’s game is some more Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. I went through New York and got some more collectibles. I need to really set down and get them because besides that i just have to grab the feathers and do the Story (and naval missions). The liberation missions are more annoying though in New York. It feels like there’s far more of them here than in Boston, so every time i so much as look at a British Soldier wrong it turns into an all out brawl.
