Oh well, I guess I’ll leave this up anyway just in case anyone’s curious what the Dutch (see end of post) and rough-English versions look like. :S

TBC, I found the first three pages in Dutch, and used Google translate to clumsily convert them to English. For the first page, I did some upscaling and manual translation correction:

I’m afraid my energy kind of petered out at that point, so these next two are a bit more raw:

I’ve previously been pretty skeptical about the samples I’d seen so far, but this looks a lot(!) better than I expected. It pretty clearly borrows from the plot and dialogue style of a couple earlier adventures, but I don’t see that as a problem. Meanwhile, it’s been a real challenge for post-Goscinny creators to both come up with something fresh, as well as staying ‘true to style.’
