Mass Effect 5 is going to release "a long time" after Dragon Age: The Veilguard because BioWare has become a "one project studio," veteran suggests

Uh yeah, they fired the majority of everyone because of shit decisions executives made.
I could go on a whole rant about veilguard and how I truly did like pieces but how it was obvious written by a marketing committee, but I’ll spare people here. It was extremely corporate. Gamers knew that, and it showed in the reviews.
Still, veilguard sold extremely well. Executives were mad that only 4 dump trucks of money showed up instead of 6, even though they were told to expect 3. so they fired everyone.
The thing is when it comes to Veilguard the good bits seemed to of been the Mass Effect Teams contributions, and their the team that didn’t get the boot from the last mass layoff

Mass effect died with the RGB ending of the og trilogy.
To this day I cannot think of a worse ending to a half decade of character and world building. GoT came close, but i was never half as invested in the series as I was in Sheppard and the crew.
Thousands of hours, hundreds of choices, and tears by the bucket all boil down to “do you want the robots to live, die, or fusion-ha with the meat suits?”
Fuck Bioware.
I can’t believe you spent that much time with the crew and never picked up on the correct way to spell Shepard’s name. /s
But otherwise, I agree. When I got to the end, I wasn’t even clear which way was which! So I went to the right. I wanted another one, but I’m not unhappy with what I got.
I also hated that I couldn’t get peace between the Geth and the Quarians. I thought I did everything right, but when Tali did what she did, I said “nah FUCK THAT SHIT” and reloaded. Did that whole mission over, including the annoying ass boss fight (which isn’t so bad once you know the trick). Sorry Legion, you were kinda cool, maybe even starting to grow on me.
Wrex pronounces “Sheppard” two P’s. That’s enough verification for me.
The name is pronounced the same regardless. It comes from “shepherd” (and there are people named Shepherd) and is also spelled Shepard or Sheppard. All are pronounced the same.

Wrong. Hes clearly pronouncing the P twice.
I watched the whole thing. I didn’t count, but he pronounced it like 10 times.
But each time he said the name, he did not pronounce the P twice.
Oh, are we calling Andromeda 4 now?
I remember when we were calling GTA Vice City GTA 4 and GTA San Andreas GTA 5. Then GTA 4 came out and it was like “wait what”
Andromeda is fun.
