The author keeps referring to “Medical shifts” as clothing. I imagine they mean a patients’ medical gown or a pair of scrubs? My partner is a nurse and public health advisor she has no idea.

Anyway, I have this have on gog, but I’ve never played it. I want to give it a try now I’ve learned a bit about it.

A shift is a type of dress . Similar in style to what you wear in a hospital.

It might he a more British word, and I assume the author is British given they referenced Tesco

Medical shirt. It’s a typo. “F” is next to “R” on the keyboard.

I think they just didn’t know they were called gowns. I think these could easily be confused with a shift. Maybe it’s a translation or dialect thing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shift_dress

Better than being called a “Johnny”.
