The scourge of AI-slopaganda, viral disinformation campaigns and online attacks against individuals and institutions is going to get far worse before it gets better, if the latest public hearings on the topic are any indication.

If this is an actual investigation with powers, it would blow the current abuse by ‘think tanks’ apart.

It is also investigating the connections between Australian organisations and international think tanks and influence networks.

We won’t even get the small satisfaction of these people admitting they were completely wrong about everything because they will be dead and/or irrelevant before that happens. They can literally just make a career out of being a complete fucking moron with no clue about anything and then peace out and leave the rest of us to clean it up.
